After his military career, he joined the Pentagon's International Security Affairs department as a senior desk officer for the UK, Canada, and naval defense systems. That led to becoming an officer in Aeromaritime and life abroad for 12 years. During that time he traveled to over 70 countries, including Oman, Iran, Bashkortostan and other interesting places, working with the defense and intelligence agencies of the United States and other countries. For service in Oman during their victory over the Peoples Democratic Republic of Yemen he was awarded the Order of Oman, that nation’s highest honor. Among his private activities at that time, he created The Journal of Defense and Diplomacy, a geopolitical magazine that was read in 26 countries.

Leaving Aeromaritime, he consulted to industrial and financial interests for over 20 years through Intel Research Corporation. During that period, Nagle worked with companies involved in communications, high technology products, and general export issues. His clients included companies like Ashland Oil for high-energy fuels used in cruise missiles, Sperry Marine for navigation and communications, General Motors Allison Division for gas turbines, and GTE for telecoms in Europe and the Middle East. He was a director of Freedom Home Equity Partners, a California reverse mortgage company. Nagle also assisted Fuel Tech NA to list their stock on the NASDAQ exchange and, with European partners, was involved in real estate and construction in Atlanta. He now consults to US and foreign companies as a managing partner of Paladin Partners LLC.

Wellness Boutique a Great Success

IAM Ministries hosted over 300 visitors at our annual Holiday Wellness Boutique held on December 5 at Mission Hills, Saratoga, CA. Over 35 wellness practitioners volunteered their time and expertise interacting with visitors who were interested in learning more about health, wellness, fitness and nutrition as well as healing principles, practices, diagnostics and treatments.
Fabulous artists and creative vendors also displayed and helped visitors make distinctive decisions in holiday purchases for family and friends. Amazing gifted and talented musicians also donated their time honoring everyone with their genius. Sook Han our honored volunteer kept the buffet table abundant with savories and sweets, while beloved Ivy and Serenity Clark managed the registration desks where our generous Dr.Hawkin's group members provided information and assistance to visitors.
A wonderful time was had by all - Suzanna Cody and Ron Hills from IAM Ministries had a very good night's sleep as we hope you are all resting well during the holiday season.

Exploring the Naked Now by Richard Rohr

What does this moment, this naked now, have to teach me?

Non-dual thinking is the most accurately descriptive term I can find for contemplation. Not necessarily inspiring, but accurate! It is a different mind, a different way of seeing and hearing which does not divide the field of the moment, but lets the whole moment, as it is, come toward you. It allows each moment to be an epiphany and its own kind of manifestation.

What happens in contemplative prayer is, now and then, by the grace of God, your field of vision opens up and clears out. We call this non-object consciousness, where you're not conscious of any one object in particular, but you're open to everything in general. You don't take control too quickly by explaining, fixing, controlling, categorizing, or needing to fully understand right now. Your mind is able to simply say, "It is what it is. The New Year arrives with the celebration of a new innocence in our hearts as in a newborn child. We have prayed for forgiveness of such past errors as shame, pride and unloving, ungrateful hearts. Each moment to come is God's gift of peace, joy and blessings. Every person, place and thing is welcomed in our beingness with love and grace, knowing it is His bequest. As we release the past year, all the light, reverence and glory will remain with us as the dark, harmful wounds are left behind. The prayer of St. Francis provides inspired guidance for our fresh start in the amazing New Year.

[Laughter] And then God sees and God sees the others, the ones who wipe the tears from the eyes of the many, the ones that say we want to do something about poverty eradication. We want to do something about the HIV pandemic and God begins to smile through the tears. And a little angel walks up to God and wipes God's tears from God's eyes. We recognize that service to Creator, Creation and Creatures is our highest calling when it is inspired by God. We release self-serving agendas to become fully committed to serving a Higher Power. We call that Power God and God is Love, Peace, Compassion and Enlightenment. We, in this human energetic form, are not separated from God, but are at-one-ment with the unknown and unmanifest as well as with the material. We are the windows through which the unmanifest may flow; we are “servants among servants”. We love, learn, be and bring God’s Kingdom into its divine place – Grace – Authenticity – Service – Anonymity.

We love and choose God every moment. Happiness is a derivative of Happening or rejoicing in every moment. Everything is God, including us and we are humbled and grateful to serve This Omnipresent Force.

The Symptoms of Spiritual Growth

A tendency to think and act spontaneously rather than on fears based on past experience.
An unmistakable ability to enjoy each moment.
A loss of interest in judging other people.
A loss of interest in conflict.
A loss of ability to worry (this is a serious symptom!).
Frequent, overwhelming episodes of appreciation.
Contented feelings of connectedness with people, places and things.
Frequent attacks of smiling.
An increasing tendency to let things happen, rather than making them happen.
An increased susceptibility to the love extended by others, as well as the uncontrollable urge to pass it on.

All true leadership is “inner gudidance or authority” from God which is then directed into service of His/Her kingdom. By loving and developing a relationship with God first, we are gifted with “holy spirit” who directs our lives. The future of the world depends upon each individual developing inner authority that we may not be led by ego-centered authority into “fear, trembling and sickness unto death”. This is the work we are doing – keeping conscious contact with God to celebrate that source of inner authority. Another IAM – Inner Authority Ministries – which may be more apt!!

Before you know what kindness really is
you must lose things,
feel the future dissolve in a moment

What you held in your hand,

how desolate the landscape can be
