Ann Woo of Chinese Performing Artists of America (CPAA) and Dennis Nahat are are coordinating the 1st Silicon Valley International Dance Competition in San Jose. It is sponsored in a collaboration between CPAA and Dalian Northeastern Asia Arts Production Co.. Dennis Nahat claims, “It should prove to be an exciting first event that we hope will grow in years to come... At present we have 30 competitors, many from China and the United States... We have invited dance officials from China to help judge as well as judges from the greater Bay Area.”
